With the few changes in server settings, you can set up the Windstream email on your android phone. It isn't as complicated on the machine as it did. You can now access your emails with just one contact on your computer. Users wishing to set up their android phone Windstream email account need to follow the step-by-step process outlined in the post. Installing Windstream on android will help you search the emails on your phone without having to worry. Now you don't have to open your computer to send/receive Windstream emails again and again. windstream email settings can be set up on a mobile phone using the POP or IMAP settings.

Follow the steps below to set up Windstream email on your Android device.
From the home screen, tap the Applications Tray and then tap Email.
Select Add Account. In the Email Address and Password, field enters your Windstream.net email address and password and tap Next.
Select IMAP as your email account type.
Enter the Incoming server settings, then tap Next and enter the Outgoing server settings. See the below table and screenshots for reference.
Username: Your windstream.net email address
Password: Your windstream.net email password
Incoming Server: (IMAP) imap.windstream.net Recommended Port 993 (SSL) or Port 143
Outgoing Server: (SMTP) smtp.windstream.net Recommended Port 465 (SSL), Port 587 or Port 25
Note: Windstream recommends using the incoming and outgoing SSL mail server ports when configuring all email clients, to prevent SPAM and safeguard the security of our customers.
Place a checkmark in the desired account options and tap Next.
Enter a name for your account and then your name and tap Done.
Your account is now created and you can now send and receive the email.

Solutions For Windstream Email Issues
Step 1:
Check if your computer is connected to the Internet.
Step 2:
If not, connect it and then try to sign in to your Windstream email account.
Step 3:
Make sure that you have entered the correct username and password.
Step 4:
If the Windstream Email server is down, then wait for some time until the server is back.
Step 5:
Check if the account you are trying to sign in is still active.
Step 6:
Note: If you haven’t signed in to your account for more than 180 days, your Windstream account will be turned inactive.
Step 7:
If you have forgotten your Windstream account password, then follow the instructions given below to reset it
Step 8:
Visit the Windstream.net website.
Step 9:
Click the My Account & Support option followed by Manage My Account.
Step 10:
Enter your current account credentials in the respective fields.
Step 11:
Click the Login button.
Step 12:
On your account page, click the Change User Names, Passwords, & Email accounts command line.
Step 13:
Now, click I forgot my password.
Step 14:
Perform the instructions displayed on the screen.
Step 15:
After resetting your account password successfully, try to sign in to your account using the new password.
