Even though they're physically separated, they're interacting with friends as people communicate with each other on the phone. Seventy-seven percent of boys play video games online with their friends at least once per month. Parents often say that games don't count as a healthy way to communicate; their kids aren't chatting about something real while video games playing, and they're playing games or yelling at one other.
